Multi-Use Trails

Branchwood Walking Trail

The 1.5 mile paved walking and biking trail winds through the natural rolling hills of the Ozark with scenic bridges and benches on what once was a 9-hole golf course.

Directions (from Town Center on Arkansas 340/Lancashire Boulevard): Take Arkansas 340 west. Go through the Highlands Gate. Turn right on Glasgow Road. Travel 3.8 miles. The trail is on the right.

Tanyard Creek Nature Trail

This trail is perfect for families and beginners. The trailhead for the 2.2-mile loop trail is in a parking lot located in a semi-urban neighborhood, but as you start off on the trail the neighborhood atmosphere disappears quickly. Be sure to bring your camera to take photos of the waterfall and creek or just sit on the bench and enjoy the view, reflect and relax. As you head back down the trail, you will see a wooden bridge accessible to all.

Lake Bella Vista Walking Trail

Located on the southern edge of Bella Vista, technically in the Bentonville city limits, the 1.75-mile Lake Bella Vista paved trail is a great choice for people looking for a multi-use trail. The trail loops around Lake Bella Vista and is ideal for walking, running and biking. The park includes playground equipment, disc golf, picnic tables and benches.

Be sure to visit the adjacent Bella Vista Veterans Wall of Honor.
