Not just a game, but a way of life
It’s early, and the morning fog is rising from the ground to reveal fresh cut greens and the challenge ahead. Or maybe it’s evening, and you’re on your last hole, thinking of drinks in the clubhouse as you see the sun setting over the horizon.
You know you’ve played a good game today, challenged yourself to reach a new low score. Whatever your perfect time might be, you know you love the game and you’ll be back tomorrow.
THE EVOLUTION OF GOLF IN BELLA VISTA
While we can thank the Linebarger brothers for the development of the first 9-hole golf course in Bella Vista in the 1920s, it has been since that time that Bella Vista has become known for seven of the most beautiful and challenging courses in the state of Arkansas. With six regulation 18-hole golf courses and one nine-hole executive golf course, there are options for every skill level, from beginner to seasoned pro. For a challenging game, visit the Scottsdale Golf Course. With Champion Bermuda greens and advanced open layout, each visit is sure to bring a new challenge. Or check out the Bella Vista’s oldest golf course at Bella Vista Country Club, part of The Natural State Golf Trail. The course runs along Little Sugar Creek and is described as a “classic” style course, the terrain more forgiving, and the course’s four tees provide a challenge for every level.
